Baby rashes

Eczema (Baby rashes) is a red scaly rash that seems to be very itchy and it often appears in the first year of life.It usual shows up on the babies cheeks, forehead and scalp, but it can spread to the whole body including the arms and legs.

A baby's eczema rash normally looks like, dry, thickened, scaly, skin or it might look like lots of small bumps in a bunch that can sometimes form into blisters that can get infected if scratched. Eczema is not contagious, but can be very itchy, so scratching is a big problem.

We do not know what causes eczema or baby rashes, but scientist says they can be past on (inherited) from family, so its most likely your baby would catch it if you or your partner has had it before.
